"Pretty easy install, though not exactly quick"
I ordered this from discountwatersofteners.com and put it in over the weekend. The instructions were mostly easy to follow, although I still managed to second-guess myself a few times. The fittings matched up with what I already had, which was a relief. It took longer than I thought it would, but at the same time it wasn’t really difficult. Had the water softener up and running that same day, so overall I’d say it went smoothly...

"Tech support was honestly frustrating"
I had a hard time getting it set up, so I reached out to support thinking it would be a quick fix. Instead, it took way too long to hear back, and I kept feeling like I had to chase them for updates. They did help me eventually, but the whole process was way more annoying than it needed to be. Like, how is this okay when someone just needs help getting started?

"Pretty smooth in the end"
I’d been using it for a bit and didn’t think much about the warranty until I actually needed it. I expected the usual back-and-forth, saving receipts, waiting around, all that stuff, but it ended up being way less annoying than I thought. The return was simple enough and they handled the warranty quickly with no hassle

"Fair price, but the value felt a bit uneven"
From my experience, the price was reasonable enough, so I didn’t feel like I overpaid right away. But once I actually used it, I wasn’t totally convinced the overall value matched up. It was okay, just not something I’d call the best deal.

"Product was fine, customer service was kind of useless"
I ordered from discountwatersofteners.com and the product itself was totally fine, so no complaints there. But dealing with customer service was a whole little circus. Replies were slow, and I had to explain the same issue twice like they couldn’t be bothered to read the first message. It wasn’t the absolute worst experience ever, but they definitely weren’t much help.

"Works Well Once You Get It Dialed In"
I’ve had this water softener running for a bit now, and so far it’s been doing a solid job. I started noticing fewer spots on the dishes after a few days, and the shower water feels a lot nicer too, which was one of the main reasons I wanted it in the first place.
It did take me a little messing around to get the settings where they needed to be, so that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. The instructions could definitely be clearer, but once I got past that part, the unit itself seems sturdy and does what I needed it to do.
